Rule 2: Do not copy the entire article into your post. The key points in 1-2 paragraphs is allowed (even encouraged!), but large segments of articles posted in the body will result in the post being removed. If you have to stop and think "Is this fair use?", it probably isn't. Archive links, especially the ones created on link submission, are absolutely allowed but those that avoid paywalls are not.

Rule 3: Opinions articles, or Articles based on misinformation/propaganda may be removed.

Rule 4: Posts or comments that are homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, anti-religious, or ableist will be removed. “Ironic” prejudice is just prejudiced.

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Rule 6: Memes, spam, other low effort posting, reposts, misinformation, advocating violence, off-topic, trolling, offensive, regarding the moderators or meta in content may be removed at any time.

Rule 7: We didn't USED to need a rule about how many posts one could make in a day, then someone posted NINETEEN articles in a single day. Not comments, FULL ARTICLES. If you're posting more than say, 10 or so, consider going outside and touching grass. We reserve the right to limit over-posting so a single user does not dominate the front page.
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Not defending anyone, especially the PoS’ mentioned in the article, but… It looks like it takes one badly worded sentence written by prosecutor to jail someone for hentai…? Imagine police finding such things during an unrelated device search (you wrote some bad things about a political figure).
I don't get Your point? Are You saying that there can't be hentai CP?
How does that work though? Hentai is drawn images and while absolutely disgusting, what child was harmed?

I guess you're implying by the question that there is Hentai CP? Idk. When I think of child abuse I think about actual children being abused not some fantasy images that sick fucks come up with.
I have to partially agree with You. Hentai CP isn't hurting children, but it still can be considered CP. It would normalise CP for the person watching it. It is a reason to keep an eye on that person. You can't draw a line between what's art and what's acceptable.
There's the idea that it makes abusing actual children more likely, but I wonder about that. Does rape porn make a person more likely to commit a rape? Do shooting games promote gun violence?
There's also the idea that drawn images which don't relate to real-world child abuse can offer therapeutic outlets for non-offending people suffering from pedophilia. Such material might make it less likely for children to be abused.
I think there's value in us asking and discussing the question, but that experts with proper scientific data are needed for an answer.
If it turned out to be harmless, but also not beneficial in protecting children, should it still be allowed? I know I'd feel better if most sites refused to host that kind of thing, but I can't really justify that stance in a logical way. I feel like the people who draw it and look at it must be bad people, but I think that's probably also what some people must think of some of the shit I fap to.
I'm also fairly certain no image generator is capable of producing CP without having been trained on it, so AI images are ultimately the result of actual child abuse. The machines can't just guess what things look like the way we can. Look into the "full wine glass" story for a demonstration of what I mean.

I can take 30 seconds to draw two little stick figures doing something nasty. Now I tell you that the stick figures are underaged.

Edit: to be clear, I'm not trolling, it's a serious question. I honestly have great doubts with people calling drawings child porn.
As with many things, it can't be clearly defined. A stick figure is just a stick figure but I'm pretty sure, You could create some unsettling scenarios using only stick figures. And what about AI generated? No children were hurt there also. But they do reinforce predatory behaviour. What about generating AI porn of someone without their consent? Those are also just drawings, but I think we can agree, that's a crime.
Edit: I don't think hentai CP should land someone in prison but it is a reason to keep an eye on them.
