Just in stand-by mode. I have a big fancy mandatory company event in the evening. I hate those type of events. Cant drink, must behave, abso-fucking-lutely nothing to do, bunch of big bosses everywhere and have to pretend I'm having fun or really really like to talk to them at a "gunpoint".
Cant even understand WTH is the point of those. Making connections? What kinda connections am i supposed to make, I'm just a machine operator and i hate those connections. Just leave me alone to tinker in my corner like the recluse i am.
I can already observe how I'm in a negative spiral and getting more pissed off with every hour.
Ugh I hate being in a room of Corporate people. I usually end up in a corner not talking to anyone.
Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what happened. Couldn't move much either as the suit was uncomfortable as hell too and borderline suffocated me the whole evening.
Food was odd as well. Not exactly bad, but more meant as an experience and an art piece rather than food meant for eating to fill up the stomach.
Had to go back couple of dozen times to eventually get some resemblance of a full stomach.
Though, i apologize for the venting.

Yeah that too. Like WTH am i supposed to do with those connections. I already am on a position i want to be until death. It suits me and i like it. I don't want a promotion to a completely different part of the company doing some work i hate. Those connections are totally useless for me.
