India on Thursday criticised as inappropriate a post by Donald Trump in which he shared comments that called the South Asian country a “hellhole”.

The inflammatory post on Truth Social comes ahead of a planned visit next month to India by the US secretary of state, Marco Rubio, who is seeking to ease recent tensions between the normally friendly powers.

On Wednesday Trump posted a 4-page screed – apparently a transcription of remarks from conservative podcast host Michael Savage – that denounced the US constitutional right to citizenship of everyone born in the country.

Without evidence, the post accused Indian immigrants in the tech industry of not hiring white native-born Americans and inaccurately alleged that Indian immigrants lack English proficiency. Trump also posted a video of Savage delivering those comments to his podcast audience.

The ones abusing it are the American business owners

Both sides are abusing it. The American business owners are abusing it and harming everyone in the process. And immigrants are abusing it for the benefits it provides.

It takes two to tango. If Indians weren't so willing to abuse it then corpos wouldn't have any to abuse and wouldn't be able to take advantage of it. If corpos weren't so keen on abusing it then Indians wouldn't have it as in option in the first place.

Life isn't fair, but it's also bullshit to dismiss one side because the other is worse. When both are problematic.

Those who come here on the visas would get a pass if they were being forced to take them. But they arnt slaves. They willingly aid and assist the corpos.

While I can respect it may be a massive improvement in their life quality. I still find zero reason to excuse someone for helping a shitty system that causes harm to everyone involved at the benefit to the ones causing the harm.
