I see. Does it not look like that when upscaled by an emulator?
Are you familiar with scaling shaders? There are several that are designed specifically to round out pixels, like superSAI, XBR4x, or HQ4x.
Personally I think they’re hideous, but some people do use them. It’s not AI.
These upscaling filters have been around for 20+ years. They're not AI.
