I haven't asked up until now but what the fuck is the Lebanese government's problem, they're such useless assholes

They're intentionally set up to be unable to resist Israel.

Hezbollah is designed to fight israeli aggression.

The Lebanese army will never be able to fight hezbollah, because of the two above sentences.

Trying to avoid another horrible civil war instigated by the Israelis + leaders are enjoying/profiting off Shia rivals being abused for fighting the occupation. Lebanon is a crabs in a barrel situation thanks to the Brits and French.
