As long as fascists exist, I prefer seeing dead ones over live ones.

For letting them fade into obscurity, I agree to a degree. But it is a two edged sword. Because the only thing that enables those vile individuals to take power in all sorts of places over and over again is because people forget about fascism and how it works.

Remember how one of the most prolific examples of fascist rulers came to power. Hitler himself didn't just grab power. He tried to do so, was convicted and jailed for his attempted coup, wrote a book detailing all of his plans and insane ideology while in jail, was released early, and was subsequently allowed to run for office again. Once his party gained an alarming number of votes, conservatives collaborated with him, thinking they could control him, and made him Chancellor. The rest is history.
