Amazon doesn't really make a lot of games, so the company had to buy third-party games to make the cloud game streaming service Luna actually work. Like Google with Stadia, Amazon Luna allowed users to buy full-priced games that could be streamed on the service, but this function is being retired and the store is being shut down today, April 10, 2026.

If you did buy games via Luna's storefront, you can still stream those games through the service until June. "After June 10, 2026, previously purchased a-la-carte titles will no longer be playable on Luna," the FAQ says.

You'll own nothing and like it.
