Pretty sure she's going to have that ego, regardless because she's a cat.
Her ancestors brought down bigger and she knows it.
I have heard that feral house cats will occasionally hunt and kill prey that is much larger than themselves. IIRC, I think they were giving deer as an example. At least it was an animal similar in size to a smaller deer.
