The pain of learning just now in 2026 that there used to be a Star Trek attraction in Vegas that closed in 2008... You could eat at Quark's! There were cosplaying wait staff! (lemmy.world)

I went in March 1998 right after getting married in Vegas! I remember it being really good. Quark’s served a cocktail for two called the Warp Core Breach that was the size of a fishbowl, got me and my new wife wasted. We may have had more than one. Still married 28 years later!

i finished one of those myself and shared a double order of the holy rings of betazed while arguing about rules of acquisition with one of the ferengi actors; it was one of the most memorable meals i've ever had in my entire life... or atleast the parts i can remember that weren't wiped out by the alcohol. lol
