Nope. He didn't fire you. Your boss fired you. They could have arranged alternative work at a temp warehouse nearby or called up their capitalist buddies at other warehouses to work out a way for you all to keep your job. Your boss, of course, didn't do any of that and insurance will cover a big part of the losses anyway, so it's just a temporary setback on their part that they willingly made more consequential on yours.

This will always be the outcome until the historic means of ensuring workers rights are resumed.
