After DeDRMing Amazon books should I keep original, deDRMed and un-unpacked files ? (lemmy.ml)

Original have different no. and types of files like .apnx , .azw , .phl
then it's deDRMed (it may vary) to .awz, .jpg, .opf
then DRMed AWZ is unpacked to folder
then that folder is converted to pdf or epub (KF8 to ePub)

I always keep my originals. I did a large batch conversion from .mobi to .epub back in the day and there were some formatting issues on quite a few of the converted books. Always nice to have the originals on hand in case something goes wrong, especially considering the miniscule file size

How do you organize it ? Except the final readable file you got Originals, DeDRM, Unpacked.

Calibre combines duplicates and then I just select the file type I want when I download the book to my reader.
