I tried that but kept encountering issues, steamtinkerlaunch seemed the most reliable, even if a few hoops to get going

Fair enough, ironically it was the reverse for me.. Couldnt get it to work at all via STL, but that install script worked flawlessly.

But thats the wonder of modern computing.. what works for someone will be a disaster for someone else.

Yeah, and I'm on bazzite

It's funny how some stuff is almost out the box but then it didn't work for me (I actually would of gone with MO2 directly but once STL worked I couldn't be arsed and just wanted to get in with gaming 🤣)

don't blame you. I'm the same way.. Linux is hard, once its working, I dont care why anymore, just leave it tf alone and let it work, lol
