The sad (but unsurprising) thing is, whenever you encourage them to actually take a risk and take some kind of collective action to bring down the pedophile, they say "my job, I'm scared" when in the same paragraph, they talk about how they're one paycheck from utter destruction.

They don't realize that they literally have nothing to lose at this point.

You literally listed the one thing we have left to lose

It sounds like USAians expect everyone else to solve their problem.

Why haven’t you gotten rid of Erdogan and Orban yet?

Came off as abrasive, but your point stands.

Political support for the alt-right is booming across Europe. The last thing you European folks need to do is raise your nose at the American tire fire. Deal with your own, before its too late.

Not my country, I'll deal with the Nazis in mine thank you.

[–] atzanteol@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Well, it's affecting you now. What are you going to do about it?

[–] FederatedFreedom1981@lemmy.ca 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Protect my country, should any USians try to invade.

Why would I givr away my strategy to you? It's none of your business, frankly.

Americans are all cucks. The French would have had his head by now and rightfully so.

[–] Mayoman68@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

The French came millimeters from electing Marine Le Pen for fucks sake. Practically every far right party in Europe is either in government or close to it. We aren't going to get anywhere until we realize the call is coming from inside the house of neoliberal failure, decline in living standards, and the harms of the information economy, rather than some country-specific problem.
