The only one I ever owned was 2. I could never afford the others when they launched and didn't care enough once the price dropped because I had too much going on in life.

I wanted the PS5 but I think it's seen price hikes like many other electronics, right?

Yes. Every console since the Switch has only gone up in price.

You can get a PS5 for around 300 or less on the used market locally
