Chinese automakers are set to take the top spot in global new vehicle sales for the first time in 2025, knocking Japanese players, which held the position for more than 20 years, to second place.

Japan's lead over China -- which stood at around 8 million units in 2022 -- has been erased in just three years.

That channel is a litmus test for your critical thinking skills. If a YouTube channel only shows 'USA bad' wouldn't it be propaganda?

Go to Australian car forums and the Chinese EV sub forums. Massive complaints about quality and reliability. Australia ended local car production and was the first to let in Chinese cars, and within 8 years they are the cars to avoid.

China has been dumping EVs all over Australia.

But it's not just China. These EVs are filling up wreckers from all manufacturers as they are nearly impossible to fix with needlessly complex systems and software designed to make them obsolete in 5 years. Tesla focuses on battery life, but the motors and peripheral gadgetry all fail.

Assuming you are American with little knowledge of auto markets outside your country. You be surprised to know Chinese automakers dominate sales from Singapore to Ukraine to Israel.
