IPV6 has taken over the part of the world where it excels - backbone.

Of the companies I've worked for, even the enterprises (with thousands of desktops) the benefits of IP6 internally aren't worth the effort and risk of transitioning.

Even new infrastructure (think entirely new buildings) would be IP4 because it integrates with their current workflow and methodologies.

Now when you talk about smaller places with perhaps a half dozen servers and less than 100 pc's, there's no incentive to use IP6, especially since you're going to firewall everything, with zero inbound permitted for anything other than stuff in DMZ, or redirectors.
