Hi all, I have a problem hanging some curtains as there is no stud above the window frame and there is already a blind hung on the frame itself.

I could possibly hang it from the ceiling in one room if the boss agrees but the other room has high ceilings.

Any suggestions?

Expandable bolts aka moly bolts. Drill a hole, insert the bolt, turn screw to expand the bolt

Or toggle bolts

I'm not confident the plasterboard will hold.

they're designed for it. The toggle action spreads the weight out over a larger area, so they don't pull through. You can get ones rated up to 20kg

Up to 20kg should be fine, they are light curtains.
