Sometimes it makes me think you brainwashed westoids actually want Uighurs to suffer so you can cope with how terrible your lives actually are.

Western Christian thinking (https://en.prolewiki.org/wiki/Library:Western_Marxism,_the_fetish_for_defeat,_and_Christian_culture) is obsessed with having an underdog to support, one whose David vs. Goliath prospects of winning are slim.

China is far from an underdog at this point, but a minority population living within China could be seen as one, so it's easy for people to latch onto.
