the fact that the federal government is removing sections from the Constitution on its official website should be the final nail in the coffin for anyone holding on to optimism or those remaining skeptical.

if you are in your 30s ask yourself if Bush would have thought about doing anything to even suggest altering or changing the constitution. the constitution of this country has long since been championed by conservatives to be “law of the land” as essentially infallible. they used to foam at the mouth if anyone attempted to revise a single part of it lest the entire document become obsolete.

it’s done, you guys. Project 2025 has won and we are not a constitutional republic anymore. dictatorship is being OPENLY attempted and if you still think at this point fascism is not here you are delusional.

wake up and get ready for whatever is coming after.

it is worth the risk to myself. the least i can do is encourage somebody who might actually follow through. i do not care if i end up in prison for the rest of my life. i have done the right thing.

Making a post on Beehaw, a place that shares many like minded opinions on this, complaining why no one is ruining their lives/getting themselves killed over it and calling us cowards. Fucking yikes.

From what I can tell you've done nothing. Have you been to protests? Are you using 5calls.org to call your representatives every day to complain about what is happening? Are you going to your towns halls to speak on issues?
