Russia and China being ok hinges on them being equally shit when compared to other authoritarian governments? Someone has some low standards.

I agree, all of the countries you described are horrible. I feel this wasn't your intended takeaway, I guess you should've compared Sweden to Russia or, maybe Canada... but then your argument would've fallen apart, so I get it.
