Did we recently federate with the reddit repost bot at lemmit.online? The character of the main feed has changed quite a bit, lotta reddit reposts.

I blocked the whole instance. Only see it when I'm not logged in.

Well this is interesting. It was about half the page. There were a bunch, now there are not.
After I got irritated, actually logged in, and blocked the instance, of course I stopped seeing them.
Now I don't see them, logged in or not. Tried it from a couple computers.

Lemmy just doesn't change that fast.
This was all quite noticeable, as the feed filled up, and now its back to normal.
I'm not sure what I experienced there. There was certainly no problem with blocking it tho. That worked fine.

Do you recall if they were all around the same time? I wonder if you opened it right after the bot posted a bunch of things all at once or something like that? I haven't paid much attention to it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it just runs on a cron or something.
