Oda may be hinting that Loki is Uranus, the ancient weapon! Who can control the serpent from the first world. This makes sense, especially considering Shirahoshi can control sea beasts perhaps Loki has the ability to control ancient earthly beasts!

In chapter 1143, we learn that the holy knight Kirinham has a mythical Zoan fruit, "Dragon Dragon" model, and is capable of manifesting the children’s nightmares in chapter 1142. In chapter 1154, after King Harald leaves, Loki raids the village and declares, "This is Elbaph, land of the mighty!! The weak don’t deserve to live!" Again, he refers to the weak, just like Jörmungandr. Why else would Oda name him after a planet and draw that same pattern on the snake if not to imply he’s named after one
