Vicky Jepson, the head coach of the U.S. Under-20 Women’s National Team, has named 24 players to the team’s April training camp in Kansas City, MO. During the camp, the team will play Brazil twice — once at CPKC stadium on April 11, and once at Riverside Stadium, which is at the Current’s training facility, on April 15. Both teams have qualified for the 20206 U-20 World Cup, taking place in Poland in September.

The roster includes 11 players currently playing in the National Women’s Soccer League. Jordyn Bugg, Sofia Cedeño, Ainsley McCammon, and Emeri Adames play for Seattle Reign FC, and Onyeka Gamero and Alex Pfeiffer both play for Bay FC. The other NWSL players called up are Katie Scott (Kansas City Current), Kimmi Ascanio (San Diego Wave), Kennedy Fuller (Angel City FC), Linda Ullmark (Houston Dash), and Chloe Ricketts (Boston Legacy FC).

One day before the start of the 2026 regular season, Gotham FC dropped a huge bomb, announcing the signing of Norwegian winger Guro Reiten. Pending visa approval, Reiten will join the Bats from Chelsea FC in England, first on loan through the 2025-26 Women’s Super League season and then as a free agent on a contract through 2029. The 31-year-old, who hasn’t scored or assisted in her 260 minutes of league play this WSL season, will be 35 by the time her contract is up with the Bats. What could have made Gotham want to take such a big chance on her?
