Electronic Dance Music (Updated July 2023)

Does anyone know any other artists that specifically sound like THIS song and this album? I'm relatively new to this specific genre... whatever it is, I'm not super familiar with it. I REALLY enjoy the breakbeats, the happy hardcore stuff, the kicks, the piano, really just everything about it. I'd like to know more about it and, if anyone knows and is willing to share, what the influences might be?

Leaving lemmy[.]ml

Just wanted to make others aware that the main admin of lemmy[.]ml and lead developer of the lemmy open source project, Dessalines, actively spreads disinformation and suppresses anyone he disagrees with - see this post [1].

Granted lemmy[.]ml is his platform, but that doesn't mean we have to support or continue building community here. My advice is to join existing communities on other servers and unsubscribe from anything on lemmy[.]ml and block the instance. Stop giving power to those who seem to support Putin/Russia [2] [3] and spread misinformation.

The whole remixes album is excellent

I made a community a couple weeks ago with the intention of just posting random stuff and seeing if it got any traction at all. It’s already at 50 subscribers so I think it’s going to be around for a bit!

Basically, WestCoastEDM is focused on EDM that’s big on the American west coast rave scene, so Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Bass House, Leftfield Bass and more (but you can post whatever genre you want).

What makes it different from other communities? Links are exclusively for new releases, dubplates, bootlegs, newly available older stuff, fresh mixes, and/or things you just wouldn’t be able to easily find anywhere else. I wanted something that would be fresh and content-rich for everybody, that any basshead could enjoy subscribing to.
