I’m near around coppell and Irving and I have a feeling this isn’t the best location to see the lights

Update: 10:23pm currently in Nocona, still haven’t seen anything, the wife and mom keep pushing me to go back home, so maybe I’m slowly gonna drive back. Only an hour and a half away from my place. If I still see anything will update status

FINAL Update: 12:06am just came back home and saw nothing 😭😭😭 we just did some stargazing but that was pretty much it, half a tank of gas gone though 🥲.

There are a ton of police, helicopters and an ambulance and it’s completely shut down, traffic being redirected from the area and is a mess. Does anybody know what’s going on?

Hey y’all,

I run a small law office in Dallas with 8 employees. We’ve been growing fast, but our IT setup hasn’t kept up.

Right now everything’s stored on a couple of office PCs and a shared drive that crashes sometimes. We also started letting some staff work from home, and I’m not sure it’s even secure.

I know we need a better setup, data backups, secure remote access, and client file protection, but I don’t want to overpay for something huge that we don’t need.

Should I hire an IT person or just outsource to a local IT company that handles law offices?

Would love any local recommendations or tips.

Nico Harrison will no longer be the general manager of the Dallas Mavericks.

The Mavericks are expected to fire Harrison on Tuesday morning, two people familiar with the decision told The Dallas Morning News, after four seasons, one NBA Finals appearance and one franchise-altering trade.

The move came a day after Monday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.

As the majority shareholder in June 2021, Mark Cuban hired Harrison to replace longtime general manager Donnie Nelson. The Mavericks went 182-157 and reached the playoffs three times during Harrison’s tenure, including two Western Conference Finals and an NBA Finals appearance in 2024.

But Harrison will long be remembered as the architect of what’s been called the worst trade in NBA history. His decision last season to trade Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Anthony Davis and Max Christie yielded immediate backlash from fans, whose chants of “Fire Nico” became a universal swan song anytime the Mavericks found themselves in an unfortunate position.
