Welcome to /c/blogging!

This is a community for posting interesting, insightful, or even personal blog posts. You can advertise your own blog, or share other blog posts you find interesting.

Since this is the programming instance, expect many posts to be related to computer science. General blogs are still welcome as well!

I've decided to make a community for sharing blog posts, since there aren't many places to do so in Lemmy.

This is a community for posting interesting, insightful, or even personal blog posts. You can advertise your own blog posts, or share other blog posts you find interesting.

Despite being in programming.dev, it's not limited to just tech talk (even though that's likely what I'll use it for). Feel free to post anything you deem worth sharing.

I've been blogging over 4 years and the reach has Plateaued.

I'm wondering if there is any service that helps reach/discoverability (like medium platform) while I stick to my own hosting?

Thanks!

Just curious if any people make steady income from a side devblog? I know there are dedicated youtubers, but I'm not into that..

I've been blogging over 4 years but the reach is still poor, just wanna rethink my strategy..

Thanks!

I compared two lemmatisation packages on Python as a part of my research project. I couldn't find many sources for how to compare the performance and accuracy of lemmatisation tools so I wanted to share my own approach. I keep notes and a diary on my research project and decided to share some of them in a blog.

The snow fell down upon the quiet roads. Santa Flew through the sky, dropping gifts through the land.

All of a sudden, the SAM site was enacted. Santa had to coordinate with ATC! 😮

Santa installed the ADS-B transponder. His code was granted, SANTA was set and the plan flies by.

PTZ Cameras got planted all through the land. Santa flew by, knowing the sky was watched as tightly as that fox at Fort Nox.

Santa then knew, by the tip of his tongue, that now was the time for the stealth menu. The active cloaking was now installed, just in time for Christmas of this year.

The gifts got sent and the sled remained sleek, while being harder to see than bobs pet named sneak.

Disclosures: My writing is meh. I wrote what I could. Refine it with KimiK2 a few times and maybe you have a story to tell?

Hey folks, I just finished writing a guide for setting up NTFS drives for Linux gaming. There's been some misinformation and questions on whether it's feasible, but if you set it up right you should be fine.

Hopefully this can help others avoid the pain I've gone through to make it work without issues!

I'm continuing digging into quantum computing with some Quantum gates acting on a single QBit. Next one will be on multiple Qbit gates.

Representing Bloch sphere with sketches is a bit challenging. I'll try to find a better way to do this.

Hey, just want to share a new step in my learning of Quantum Computing. I've digged a bit into Quantum gates and tried to redo the math by hands. There are probably mistakes, but that how you learn things.

Btw, I've also recently moved from WordPress to pelican, codeberg and statichost.eu.

Ever wake up to 200 new newsletter signups and think “Wow, I finally made it!”

Yeah… me too. Until I realized none of them verified their email addresses. Not a single one.

My newsletters got spammed a couple of months ago, so I decided to write an article about:

What this is

Why it’s happening

How to stop it

If you’ve got a newsletter or any kind of public form on your site, this might save you a headache down the line.

Hope it helps!
