I did this artwork during a challenge with my friends. The basis was taken of the street of Lisbon, and the task was to turn it into some kind of post-apocalyptic landscape.

After a series of pandemics, the economy has collapsed in much of the world. The worst affected states were dismembered and bought by the strongest. Afterwards riots broke out all over the planet that led to a total war almost causing the extinction of the human race.
The survivors found themselves dealing with a devastated but still present world, and over the years nature has taken back the spaces that man had occupied.
The cities have been swallowed up by vegetation, the animals once confined to increasingly restricted areas now roam free.
SECOND DAWN is the starting point from where you can start living with respect towards the planet and its animal and plant inhabitants.

Work done for the 2025 Gareth Edwards' movie. The art depatement was asked by the director to make very quick sketches and thumbnails, in order to explore compositions and moods.

In the ethereal interplay between time's embrace and nature's reclamation, this visual odyssey unveils a liminal realm where the relics of human ambition meld with the relentless vivacity of the Earth. Futuristic stone monoliths, shrouded in verdant tendrils, stand as silent sentinels, witnesses to epochs untold. Their geometry, once sterile and rigid, now waltzes with the organic chaos of overgrowth, a testament to the transitory nature of invention. Amidst the hallowed ruins, the boundary between past and future dissolves, and the observer is beckoned to wander the intricate labyrinth of possibilities, where reality and reverie coalesce, and the seeds of imagination, nurtured by the fertile soil of uncertainty, bloom into a kaleidoscope of enigmatic narratives.

An abandoned power plant on a distant planet, located on the coast and created by an alien human-like civilization. It is flooded several times a year, and once a year the water level rises to the upper walls.
