In respect of the duo's desire for anonymity, please do not create posts that reveal their actual identities, if you happen to know who they are. But after all we all know that they aren't of this Earth anyway!

Here's an interesting interview where the duo gives a very refreshing explanation for their anonimity wish.

This concert was especially playful, with many internal jokes between Khn and Klek, and many interesting live variations on several songs.

I personally find it a bit sad that this was focused mostly on Khn. But it has interesting moments in seeing them entering and exiting from the street (apparently) – and look out for the special Sebastien arm moment! ;)

Orchestra interpretation of Fabienk. Don't miss to watch what the musicians do towards the end :)

As one of the top comments says,

You know you've made it when orchestras start covering your music!

Interesting interview with Khn and Klek in The Guardian (no paywall as far I can see). They tell more about their backstory and on their current success. Some quotes:

“It’s only music. I’m not saving people’s lives,” Klek continues. “I’m just playing drums. One comment on KEXP said: ‘Now there’s a reason to live.’ I was like: calm down, man. Go kiss your mother or something – that’s a reason to live.”

“Since we are ‘popular’ in a certain way – it’s strange for me to say that – we don’t spend much time on the internet because we have a tight schedule. And sometimes people are … how can I say … angry about Angine. So we’re like: let’s not go on Facebook. People can say what they want.” Khn grins.

And they still have day jobs. Klek claims to work inside the yellow arches of the McDonald’s logo; Khn has a small business, which he runs from the road. “I love it and I wouldn’t want to get rid of it.”

Khn admits to feeling the pressure. “I can’t say we’re being lighthearted and just doing this to have fun, because when you feel this hype, people have anticipation and you’ve got to give them the best. I can’t say my thoughts have been clear of any doubts about: what can I do to make myself a better musician? But what I come back to is that people have fallen in love with the rawness and simplicity.”

I was hoping to go to see them somewhere in Europe... But the tickets seem to be already sold out everywhere up to November!

Someone linked the albums on YouTube but they're also free to listen on Bandcamp. Plus you can support the band right there 🙂

There's a decent discount if you buy all their material at once -- currently that's Vol. 1 + Vol. 2 + the Sherpa single. And it's DRM-free (i.e. yours to keep and backup forever) in FLAC format (best digital quality).

Their two albums (I hope the first two of many) are available on YouTube: Vol. 1, Vol. II.

I also bought them on Qobuz – you can just download them in lossless format and they come without DRM 💪.

Someone just shared them with me! Super good music and cool to hear and see something so unique! The guitarist literally was turning pedal knobs with his toes and playing extra frets, so they are pretty legit.

Just saw this community popup.

Not sure if people here know it, or voted for it yet, but Angine de Poitine is one of the recommendations to represent '.ca' on lemmyvision.

They are bundled in the French category, just follow the link above to check the bands and cast your vote.

It ends May 2nd, 11:59 PM PDT.

This is the video that kicked off much of their popularity in early 2026 🙂
