Just checked

4th, 6th, 7th, and 8th result on incognito, along with 4 videos about it

So somewhat but not as much as you'd imagine

Literally tho, I read a post to an article about "The Misogyny Problem on TikTok" and the top comment was the most lemmy tone-deaf "so don't use corporate social media (with algorithms)"

My brother in christ you are not a woman on the fediverse and it shows

This is honestly the start of a much bigger rant about Lemmy as a whole but I'm gonna stop it here tbh

It's just tiring

So I go from losing 1 hour per hour to 1,460 hours per hour? Nah, man

Yeah this is how it was for me when I first started C++, I was use to any object beyond a simple 3D vector to always be passed by reference

And then I read a C++ book my uncle gave me during a flight and realized that there isn't any syntax for passing a parameter by copy, so obviously that'd have to be the default behavior and I've been passing by reference ever since

So I'm reading a post, tab out for a while, and when I come back the app reloads and I have not found any way to go back to said previous post, is there any way to view a history of read posts? And if there isn't, are there any clients that do have this feature?

And before anyone brings up likes and saves, those aren't in the order that I read them, but in the order that they're originally posted. I know that in lemmy 1.0.0 they've megred better like ordering, but until lemmy v1 releases I would like to know how I can go back to read things I wasn't finished reading yet, either on this app or alternatives

Thank you!

Man this was like the only instance that was accepting new members at the time and tbh it's been failing to load stuff half the time now, which instance should I switch to that's actually accepting new members?

Also any good mobile clients with a local history? I'm so tired of Voyager just throwing away posts that I try to go back to read, absolutely no way to go find it again

Actually really needed to read that last line, thank you

I was reading a long comment on a post, but then tabbed out for a minute, only to tab back into Voyager and see it reload, and there isn't any way that I know to go back to that post. This has happens numerous times but usually I can just scroll to the post either in my feed or in my upvotes (assuming I upvoted the thing first)

This time however I just can't and it makes me frustrated

Is there any way to see my view history on this app, and if not are there any plans to implement it, and if not still what apps should I use instead that either have this view history feature, sorts my upvoted by order that i upvoted, or just refrains from reloading and dumping my position with no recourse?

Thank you
