There is decent crossover. There's an OOP from Alan Wake in the panopticon in control. I think I heard there was more in the DLC? Ahti also makes an appearance in Alan WAKE 2. They are all in the same universe. Alan Wake is basically just another AWE to the FBC.

The FBC is in Alan Wake 2, and one of the AW2 DLCs explores an FBC office that was set up to investigate Cauldron Lake.

It’s definitely different, not bad, but. The dark claustrophobic brutalist horror is somewhat replaced with faster paced action with spooky elements. But vibes are still good.
