Cheap electrotech is enabling India to industrialise without the long fossil detour taken by China and the West -- or, as one of the authors put it -- India's not going to rescue the oil industry.

Well the last time i actually fact checked, China was the one installing the most solar worldwide.

true, but they first build out coal to power their country. As this article is showing, India is skipping past the coal part mostly, and electrifying via solar faster than China did. But yes, they do use the Chinese solar products they developed.
