Hey, guys. 👋

Lately I've been diving into martial arts - just early practice for now, but I'm really drawn to the mindset: focus, discipline, inner calm. At the same time, I've found myself a bit intrigued by the motorcycle culture - the freedom, the connection to the road, the aesthetic too.

I've noticed that some people in both spaces seem to carry a quiet confidence that's really inspiring.

Just wondering if anyone else here shares that mix of interests - judo, karate, moto rides, maybe beach walks after a training session, that kind of peaceful warrior vibe?

Not looking for anything in particular, just curious to see who's out there. Feel free to share your experience, say hi, or drop a pic if you feel like it. ☺️

Wishing calm and good energy to anyone who needs it today. 🥋 🏍 ✨️

A few weeks ago I was having a conversation with my therapist and he pointed some things that about me: mainly that my sense of socializing and bonding is feminine, I don't like making friends even though I like having friends I don't like the process of acquiring them, and because of that I don't really have many hobbies or much of a sense of self. My therapist explains to me that the average heterosexual male bonds with fellow males through shared experiences and activities like playing pool, we're doing construction.

And then this got me reflecting on the whole concept of hookup culture. What if it's the average male that can only really bond with other men through shared experiences and activities like having sex? And my demisexuality makes me fundamentally incompatible with like 90% of all gay men, so on top of how hard romance is for me for other reasons, it is now 10 times harder?

This is a hyper generalization I know but it's kind of bothering me that I have no one else to talk to about it.

Pleeaseee I know people don't like Kamp Koral but COME ON THIS IS SO GAY I SHIP IT SO HARD IN THIS EPISODE/SPINOFF!!!!! Does this count as representation of MLM relationships?? It can be interpreted as a silly friendly/platonic relationship but I don't see it that way...

Had to visit a friend in the hospital at midnight but the nurse kicks me out at 2:00 saying only one visitor can wait with the patient. Friend tells me it's okay and so I wait in the car. But now it's 2:00am in an empty hospital parking lot and I'm horny. I open theBlowers and nobody is online for miles? Now I feel super awkward lmao

This sub is pretty dead. Let's get some content here.

GayBros, have you met someone who interests you lately?

I feel like too much time will end up with us being like brothers, and too little time will end up with the relationship being forced. I get a warm feeling every time my crush(?) calls me, so I may like him, but IDK. He said sure, maybe if we get to know each other more he'd date me, and I agreed. But how long into the relationship before I consider dating him?

Heated Rivalry, the TV show, is so fucking good.

I had heard good things but still thought that it wouldn't be for me. It seemed too.. simple/easy/discardable/fluff/trashy? It is definitely not. I am always so eager for new episodes.

If you are not watching it, give it a try.

I’ve seen a couple of posts on other social media sites about CVS or Walgreens no longer carrying these medications. Haven’t seen a news site confirm anything, but very concerned with how these administration might attack access to the medications.

(The photo is my facial expression to each person I have dated, these are fake names. Posted here because I’m MLM in an MLM relationship.)

Name: Leah

We broke up because she wouldn’t stop asking for dirty photos, we don’t talk anymore.

Name: Steve

We dated in fifth grade when we knew each other but we later lost feelings and decided to just be friends and stop the flirting. We are now together again and have stayed friends all that time.

Name: Aria

We dated online for a little bit until she blocked me because she wanted to “move on” and called me abusive for wanting to be her friend.

We don’t talk anymore, she kept me blocked.

Name: Carol

We occasionally say “hi” or wave but have nothing to talk about. She broke up with me due to me not being the right guy, she didn’t wanna continue dating someone she didn’t feel romantic towards.

Name: Karen

My most recent ex. I have her number so I can contact her any time but we haven’t spoken since we broke up. She broke up with me because she wasn’t ready to be in a long-lasting, committed relationship.

I have seen a lot of posts on Gay Bros, as a genderfluid (mostly male) trans guy dating another trans guy, and a lot of the posts were just talking about how "men in dresses" should stop "pretending" to be lesbians and how "women" should stop "pretending" to be gay men.

There was one post in particular which I expected better from that said "is it okay to not want to date a trans man" and the comments were full of "is it okay to not want to date a woman? yes, you're gay not bi" and the like.

I have never seen that here or gotten that vibe. Thank you, GayBros Lemmy!
