What the hell are those green sparks?

I bought this budget hairdryer a few months ago, after the previous one took fire. Is this one going to follow as well?

It is running at full speed, sparks are present no matter if heat is turned on or not.

Might you please share more info? Thanks

I don't understand academia (and I kind of hate it)... Why would you minimize your knowledge to this, and at the same time being super rigid about methodology?

Highest I've seeded before stopping was 2000x, on about 30 or so titles. And everything from my home connection lol

I'm getting deep into the yogurt rabbit hole. Last time I tried I sued for poor starting culture that was heavily infested with yeast. It was some delicious yogurt I bought from a lady on the street, but after a week or so it turned too sour and definitely gassy. It was not a good starting culture...

This time, I switched for some commercial yogurt and also went for this technique with extra water to retain heat for longer. I also finally decided to invest 4 euros and get a cooking thermometer. I'm so satisfied it's keeping in the range of 41/42 degrees Celsius.

I'll give it a night to rest, and I'll let you know tomorrow morning!

Edit: Alright, after 8 hours, the temperature dropped at 31°C. Perfect taste and smooth texture! Pretty satisfied with the result! From now on I'm using this technique with a larger pot filled with hot water.

Mah ho provato solo recentemente, quindi non so fare un paragone. Confermate che anche voi non riuscite?

Ciao, non riesco ad accedere alle community delle istanze che usano kbin o mbin (es. Fedia.io, kbin.earth, ecc.). Sono attivamente defederate?

They look yellow and not very mucus-y. Should I just leave them there and wait for it to evolve? If so, how would I know if this is going to kill me? lol

Hi folks, I live in northern Africa and it is quite common to find ladies on the side of the street selling bottles of fermented milk. I thought this is some kind of yogurt or kefir, but I'm not sure. I bought a bottle of what basically seems to be milk. Also, I'm not sure about those little yellow grains floating around. The smell is quite tangy. What is this in your opinion?

Thank you for sharing your blog post and the link to the article on Medium. I 100% agree with you when you say that "the mission of taking away power from Big Tech is more important than purity testing on social media, so any person who drops Google in favor of Proton (or Tuta, etc.) is a political win".

Hey thanks for the comment. Might you explain a little bit more? I'm just curious to learn more

What about the fact that basically ALL entire planet goes through either Cloudflare or Akamai's infrastructure? I wonder if it is even possible to not use those, even unwillingly

That's bad news. Can you share the original tweet? Thanks

RSS feeds are the way to go to keep in touch with events, but only when you want to and in a not addictive manner. Also, my philosophy is that some news is really really important only if somebody from my inner circle personally tells me something about it. Otherwise is just noise from media

Hi there, we are a small tram of social researchers working on writing a collective report together. The report has several chapters. Our plan is to use git to store changes and easily traceback to different versions as well as allowing everyone to experiment with new ideas.

I am trying to decide a branching strategy, and so far I guess something like feature branching could do. We could have a branch for each chapter..? And maybe, when a chapter is kind ready, we could merge into main..?

We will have members working potentially on different parts of the report in different moments.

Advice is needed. Thank you!

rega, domandona che potrebbe scatenare un bel RTFM. Come mai da Feddit (ma così come da altre istanze Lemmy) non riesco ad identificare utenti su istanze Mastodon? (o altri servizi nel fediverso, se per questo)
