So in response to me saying you've both missed the point of the op meme and have been going through the infinity loop meme, it's vote democrats because that's the only option.

While also saying I'm not reading or understanding you, your response is to continue to repeat that the only option which you freely admit will do nothing is all we can do is.

Saying that there's things we should do and are going to do and changes that need to happen are cheap words, and saying you shouldn't vote at all because of the shitty situation or things need to be done is purposefully taking away power from the people.

Which you say we can't do because would hurt dems getting in power.

Voting even helps Democrats move to the left. Voting got Mamdani elected. That's one more Democrat that's more left. His success and popularity will sway more people to run and put out more leftist policies. Those people only get into power by voting, in primaries and I'm big elections. That can only happen if ya vote.

Yes the exception of Mamdani's win proves the rule as the dnc and dems, who again you say are the only options, did everything possible to prevent from winning. The dems who in response to the people showing what they want and crave in a politician/political party said we must keep moving right.

Again we get to the dems are the problem but everyone like in the meme says the only option and too keep trying until they let us kick it the football

So they're tripling down after saying we just need to forgive and forget?

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 2 points 1 week ago (2 children)

We have the dems need to move left but won't, we'll vote 3rd party then, can't do that it's worse (right said a waste not split the vote, we need to change it from the inside.

I know you haven't been reading though my replies but we've been going through the loop of the dems are the only option possible

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 1 points 1 week ago (4 children)

We've had everything but they're not real Democrats

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 9 points 1 week ago

Another perfect example. https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/comment/26079440

Guess snoopy new piefed pr accounts

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 10 points 1 week ago

Old enough to know better? Actually idk what age is considered legal on that instance or piefed.social

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 19 points 1 week ago (3 children)

I honestly didn't think there would be worse mods than those on world but these last few weeks have certainly proven me wrong

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 19 points 1 week ago

Cool. Changes absolutely nothing but glad they realized something was done wrongly

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 27 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Putting this here because it's obvious it either wasn't read or ignored so it's for others. Can't add the comment that triggered this either as it got replaced by simply test but this comment still echos the previous one so sadly still entirely relevant.

And why i'm writting to you ? My purpose is ending this fedidrama

So again the point is the continuation of one sided attacks from the top. Even this reply is filled with nothing but condescending well he sure is sorry if you can all ignore his actions language.

Nothing you or rimu or others on the piefed staff have said feel at all genuine to me or others.

Until that changes 🤷.

My sole purpose here is ending this fedidrama that lastest since last April. Then later, we will work on a closure so we can close wound and heal.

Again simply saying just get over it is a terrible way to do that.

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 27 points 1 week ago

While also being the biggest harrasing users.

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 28 points 1 week ago

This is extra fantastic as snoopy keeps calming it's all over and it's time to make up, while they or rimu again kick those who bring up issues or concerns.

And a massive red flag to fucking ban/retaliate against those who discover and disclose vulnerabilities.

[–] Goferking0@ttrpg.network 2 points 1 week ago

I honestly thought kbin was the replacement. Now realizing that's silly thinking k before m

Rimu Mass Bans Users

Which mods/admins were being Power Tripping Bastards?

@rimu@piefed.social

What sanction did they impose (e.g. community ban, instance ban, removed comment)?

Mass instance bans

Provide a screenshot of the relevant modlog entry (don’t de-obfuscate mod names).

Done

Provide a screenshot and explanation of the cause of the sanction (e.g. the post/comment that was removed, or got you banned).

Explain why you think its unfair and how you would like the situation to be remedied.

He has abused the modlog to claim 'harassment', which I have never engaged in. I have not even interacted with Rimu in any way for days prior to getting kicked from the PieFed developer Matrix channels.

He has decided to mass ban 20 users because they have spoken out against his erratic and hostile behaviour as of late.

Why They Don’t Want You Driving a Chinese Car

I took my first ride in a Chinese car recently. Not in the U.S., of course, since sky-high tariffs have made them almost impossible to import. I was visiting family in the U.K., and we rented a BYD Sealion SUV. And let me tell you: I saw immediately why American car companies are desperate to have these things kept out of this country. It was elegantly designed, incredibly comfortable, and a smooth ride.

The share of Americans who say their financial situation is getting worse is higher now than at any point in the past 25 years, per new Gallup data out Tuesday morning.

Why it matters: Americans are struggling after years of higher inflation and a recent surge in gas prices due to the Iran war — a major challenge for President Trump and Republicans as the midterm elections come into view.

By the numbers: 55% of respondents to a poll conducted April 1-15 said their financial situation is getting worse; that's up from 53% last year and 47% in 2024.

**The number is higher than at any point since 2001, even compared with recessions during the pandemic or in the wake of the financial crisis**.

Friction point: This is the fifth consecutive year that more Americans say their finances are worsening rather than improving.

Zoom in: When asked to identify their most important financial problem, 31% cited the cost of living.

Energy costs are mentioned by 13% of Americans, up 10 percentage points from last year and the highest since 2008.

Reality check: Inflation is still elevated from where it was the last time Trump was in office, but it's certainly lower than at its peak in 2022.

The big picture: Still, the recent surge in gas prices has increased the pressure on American pocketbooks.

The average price of a gallon of gas is $4.11, says AAA. It was under $3 before the war started on Feb. 28.
Many Americans blame Trump for the increase.

https://lemmy.world/post/45982249

Update rogue mod flat out admits it and apologizes to the account doing tos breaking comments.

Days after lemmy.world admin says violence is not allowed on lemmy.world users start cheering Ukraine doing what the usa did to Iran. Blow up refineries and cause chemical fallout on civilians

Edit.

And now we have calls for anyone saying this is bad should just be killed

What? No, when the Putin sends you (those people) to the front-lines after "surviving" the horrors of Ukraine striking a refinery you weren't even close to (and those people are far more likely to kill civilians, invalidating your argument)

Rogue mod (ttrpg.network)
submitted 1 month ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago) by Goferking0@ttrpg.network to c/support@lemmy.world

Looks like there's a mod going rogue on the announcements comm.

Serious is removing and banning anyone pointing out how terrible of a move defedederating from db0 and AN would be, or anyone pointing out his removals. Calling them disinformation comments then banning them for same reason.

https://lemmy.world/modlog/5

Unless this is expected behavior where anything that a mod doesn't like becomes disinformation?

Edit 18hrs after post.

No answers so again apparently this is accepted behavior. Sadly not shocked

Edit 2, 2days later.

Still nothing but insults from a head lemmy world mod. Really great look for lemmy world

Edit 3, 10 days later.

Mod in question retaliated by banning me instance wide for reporting tos breaking comments, and then apologizing to said account here.

@ruud@lemmy.world @MrKaplan@lemmy.world @lwadmin@lemmy.world

Is this acceptable behavior for mods in your opinion? Retaliation and attacking users reporting rule breaking comments?
