The frightening part is that the slop doesn’t have to fool informed voters. It just has to reach people who don’t follow politics closely, long before a fact check ever catches up. One polished fake clip can become their entire impression of a candidate. Apparently political advertising has discovered the perfect product: certainty without facts.

If we ever manage to get the country back, we need to immediately ban AI-created political advertisements, and put teeth into the law.

I've been tracking deep fakes and AI in politics for a few years now, just waiting for the moment when they'd start using them to manipulate voters, and we've finally arrived. And as I predicted, it was MAGA who dove in head first. Truth has never been one of their virtues.

Can we just ban political advertisement in general? Im tired boss. Im so tired.

Just make it simpler; liability for not fact checking information and ban structurally important media from being for profit. Get too big? Congrats, you've been nationalized to serve public rather than private interest.

Any lie told often enough is believed. Thank the Nazis for their insight.

For real, how do I get in on some of this slop? I can hold my breath until I get brain damage and make AI slop as good as the next idiot. How do I get paid to do that?

step 1 have rich friends in poltics

step 2 have no morals

step 3 charge your rich friends in poltics out the ass

So many of my possible careers ended at step 1.

If it's any consolation you can resell your slop services on like fiverr.

If you get good at training models to generate feet pics of famous cartoon and furry characters I hear that's profitable on patreon.

There's plenty of options! I believe in you. Don't let your slop dreams be memes... Wait... Let your memes be your dreams! Lol

I just really want to sell novels on Amazon that just hit every MAGA trope. But I don't know of it's worth selling books to a group famous for their hostility towards literacy, education, and words meaning things.

Think of how funny it would be to sell a book that absolutely clowns on maga and then having it get popular with maga.

Lol

The thing is, they might absolutely see it as reinforcing their ideals. There's a very real phenomenon where 2 people on opposite ends of the political spectrum see the exact same media, made famous by the Colbert Report.

The problem is, would Claude even do well writing a subtle, satirical story?

Woul be much preferred

I just saw some erection slop in a Brazil video for Bolsonaro, they changed some dancing dude into a scantily clad dancing chick in a miniskirt, on a stage so you can see under her virtual skirt. Edit: https://i.imgur.com/B4u1Zr7.mp4 end edit.

The porn websites that constantly hawk ai in their ads if one doesn't have a content blocker are not very convincing at all, they still look fake. But this brasillian one didn't that I could tell.
