Whether it's israel, the US, france, etc., western enforcers tend to be cowards. They use militarized gear against civilians but tend to hide if there's risk of actual harm coming to them. Remember this when considering the struggle and how to overcome. Understand the asymmetry of it as a real threat, but also don't be intimidated into thinking they are as steely inside as the vests they wear and the batons they wield. The asymmetric power abuse that colonialism and imperialism looks to exploit, develops an enforcer class that is unused to facing a peer in battle. I remember reading about how during the US 2020 protests, there were cops who were quitting as a result of it and that wasn't even with having to face armed conflict. That was just having to deal with prolonged public scrutiny and public protest against police brutality. That's how fragile they are as a class.

Sometimes their loyalty is more so to a literal local police gang even than it is to the state (there are some police in literal gangs in the US, don't know about france). Consider it this way, too: If they were loyal to the state and believed fervently in it as a project, they'd be willing to take more risks for it, but they tend to be cowards instead. This does not mean they aren't dangerous, but that the danger is different than tenacious, well-trained loyalists.

That flying kick is a masterpiece
