When I'm in need of need help, I ask. When my parents ask for help, they demand. If I dare question it, or have something else planned, I get yelled at and called all sorts of insults. Relatable?

They will never change and that's unfortunate, but ultimately it is outside my sphere of influence so I can move on from feeling bad. It must be sad when the general feeling at your funeral won't be one of mourning, nor remembrance - but relief.
