Idk if millions of compromised routers due to consumerism and walmart is a sign of sophistication, more like we collectively have a weakness for them to exploit.

I also wouldn't really call Britain their peer, most of these attacks and vulnerabilities get investigated and publicized almost solely by Microsoft.

The series of six essays from an ex-microsofty who was on core and kernel projects prior about Azure absolutely fucking terrifies me.

And my government keeps tying itself closer and closure to Azure 😬😬😬

Hey bud, that's great, fuck Windows 10 with a rusty stick, and Azure is trash, but we were discussing the capabilities of various nations to identify and defend against various attacks, and nobody has shown the same capability on that front as Microsoft or China.

Read the thread I linked. There is no security at Azure. Azure GCC High is "dogshit" to quote reporting.

That's great, I agree with you, but that's still a completely unrelated discussion to their role as a Defence Contractor and their countless reports on new threat actors and vulnerabilities. If and when Britain becomes capable of replacing them then that will be a day to celebrate.

🤦‍♂️

Defending whom from whom? The threat actors are already on the inside, in the form of Microsoft itself.

You think Microsoft is behind the Chinese Botnets?

I think they're incompetent enough to be the attack vector in common.
