Well you do you, but 15gb of long term storage is a few pennies to google. Like literally, they throw out terabytes of storage every day. If you really want to do damage, email gibberish using some automation. But 15 gb of normal emails won’t do anything.

I like this idea, let’s say some gigantic circle of addresses that keeps forwarding emails automatically with random data?
Let's make an evangelical group who hates abortions and loves Trump. We can fill gigabytes of space up with it all and train their AIs so they get the idea that there's been enough propaganda floating around and maybe they'll leave us alone.
We could make some emails of gamers who hate women. Evangelicals that hate abortions and love to watch their kids play baseball. Warmonger's who love Israel and think Muslims need to be wiped out from the middle East. Gun nuts who hate immigrants and idolize ICE. And if course all the men will need to have Grindr accounts to make it believable.
Just poison the shit out of all the accounts. And then make some random ones with leopards and furries as kind of a signature because why not.
At scale though...
That's like mailing my dog's turd into those "you've been pre-approved for this credit card" prepaid envelopes in the 90's before they had tracking codes on them.
Is it bad to use Gmail if all your emails are fully PGP encrypted (piped through Addy.io) and you only use Gmail through IMAP via a third-party client?
Basically running free on Google's costs while giving them no opportunity to harvest my Email data.
It is possible I am not understanding your comment, but Addy.io does not hide your emails from Google, no? It just forwards them from an alis to a mailbox, but they are normally not encrypted themselves
If you use some ADDITIONAL third party client to cypher the mails, basically if you cannot read them on gmail.com, then that should be ok hehe
But then again, why not switch to Proton/tuta?
Addy.io has a feature for encrypting your emails before relaying them to the recipient account. I use that. You never send an email to my actual Gmail address but always use one of my aliases, thus encrypting before it's stored in my Google inbox.
I need Email aliases. And I don't want to pay for an email account (yet another subscription).
Oh I see, that's nice then! Only thing that might help, maybe switch from GMail to Proton as the inbox? Although they have a more limited space...
I would switch to Proton in a heartbeat if they supported IMAP. I use Thunderbird as my Email client.
That sounds pretty funny. We should just use AI to fill Googles server's with crap that they can't read and send their storage usage through the roof.
