United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

They should be permanently disqualified, if not deported
Could they deport you instead? For whatever reason you have in mind.
I am a citizen of this nation, I abide and respect the law, even those I disagree with. I do not think we should let people who we don't know in undocumented who are trying their hand at paying criminal gangs. If you can't respect something as simple as the border, you should have zero right to be here.
No you don't. Nobody does. There's so many laws, many of them contradictory, that it's literally impossible to abide by the law.

That was in 2007. There have been thousands of laws since.
My allegiance is to His Majesty the King, his Heirs and Successors, according to law.
God save the King. I respect that. Same reason when I visited China I respected their laws, like checking in with a police station whenever I went somewhere even though the locals said I didn't really have to bother as it's unenforced. But I was in their country, I respect their laws.
People born here to people settled got to stay here 10 years begore they apply through form T. How many kids don't get anything without having to drop 1300 and live here for 10 years since birth?
Idk my brain is fried this week, I mean I think I get your point with kids being raised here tbh. Maybe 15 is a bit much from that perspective
