Fediverse vs Disinformation
Pointing out, debunking, and spreading awareness about state- and company-sponsored astroturfing on Lemmy and elsewhere. This includes social media manipulation, propaganda, and disinformation campaigns, among others.
Propaganda and disinformation are a big problem on the internet, and the Fediverse is no exception.
What's the difference between misinformation and disinformation? The inadvertent spread of false information is misinformation. Disinformation is the intentional spread of falsehoods.
By equipping yourself with knowledge of current disinformation campaigns by state actors, corporations and their cheerleaders, you will be better able to identify, report and (hopefully) remove content matching known disinformation campaigns.

Just because you don't believe in god doesn't mean your irrational or hateful beliefs are righteous or rational.
This is the thing you lame edgey internet atheists ignore with thunderous force, most cults are not explicitly religious, including AI obsessed tech "atheists" that hang out on the internet claiming they are more rational than everyone else.
If you are going to not believe in god great, I don't and I could care less whether you do or not, but there is one thing you must do and that is realize that the fundamental argument of "organized" religion is not really that god exists but that every single overconfident asshole in the world thinks they are jesus...
