There is no total destruction. Just increasingly severe but not total destruction.
We are currently at the point of do we leave it at millions dead or increase it to billions? Don't worry, a few people will still survive.
im not sure about this. the rate of change and with extinctions. I think there is a fair chance we wipe out complex life over a certain level.
