Gerard P. Donelan (born 1949),[1] known mononymously as Donelan is a gay cartoonist. Part of the first wave of LGBT cartoonists, he drew It's a Gay Life, a regular gag cartoon feature in The Advocate, for 15 years. Starting producing comics from 1977.
I think the Pam one is just a girl explaining her lesbian mothers to her friend.
But I do like the trans coded view as well.
I can only read the Pam comic as a pro-trans one, because the kid called her “sorta my father” and keeps using “she&her” to mention Pam.
I want to read your perspective as lesbian mothers, since Pam has no facial hair, or long hair, and is overtly dressed on what appears to be a summer day (bear hair shyness?).
