"I wonder if it's nice outside today..." Lucy says as she stands up in her crib. She wears pajamas.

"I'll be glad when I learn to get out of bed like other people!" Lucy declares as KLUNK! She fall out of her crib and lands on her head.

Lucy stands at the window in the widow and exclaims, "Oh, my!"

She scurries off: "Here comes Charlie Brown, and I'm still in my sleepies!"

"What's he doing here so early?" Lucy asks. She peeks out from a window and watches Charlie Brown on the doorstep, on a right angle with her window.

She takes off down the hall: "A girl can't talk to a fellow while she's still in her sleepies!....I'll have to hide in my room."

Charlie Brown stands in the living room He calls, "LUCY! Where are you?"

Lucy stands in the corrner of her room and panics: "Oh, no! He's coming right in here..."

"?" Charlie Brown finds Lucy buried up to her neck in a pile of toys as he enters her room. She greets him : "Hi!"

They both are sitting in chairs while Charlie brown reads the story, he tells Patty" i think it's a bit subtle, Patty... The average reader probably won't understand it.

Patty stands and says" YOU understood it, Didn't you? Charlie Brown still sitting, hands back the story to Patty saying" Of course, But...

Patty is walking away saying" then I've got nothing to worry about!" Charlie Brown still sitting has a puzzled look on his face.
