Sadiq, 51, from Didsbury, said that when he attended Ashton-under-Lyne police station on 15 May, two officers he believes were from Operation Wildflower – a response by Greater Manchester police (GMP) and others to the war on Gaza – asked to speak to him “man to man”.

The officers told him that having checked his devices, they knew he was “fully involved” with Palestine Action but that they would not be charging him in relation to last year’s arrest, Sadiq said.

“They said to me: ‘We need your help. Look, there’s benefits in helping us,’” he told the Guardian. “I’m like: ‘What kind of benefits? Financial benefits? Are you going to pay my taxes?’ They said: ‘Oh, we can help with things like that.’

“The other guy said to me: ‘Oh, there’s other benefits, too.’ They said: ‘We’re not saying you can go out and commit a serious crime but we can turn a blind eye to certain things.’”

We've all heard the theories – some far-fetched, some hauntingly plausible. Figures like Stanley Kubrick (died just after Eyes Wide Shut was delivered), Princess Diana (the "establishment murder" theory that refuses to die), and Gabriela Rico Jiménez (the Mexican model who claimed elites ate human flesh, then vanished into a psychiatric ward) are often cited as examples of inconvenient people being "silenced."

But beyond these well-known cases – who else comes to your mind?

I'm asking for real names (or pseudonyms) of journalists, whistleblowers, artists, or public figures you suspect were killed, discredited, institutionalized, or otherwise erased because they knew too much or threatened powerful interests.

Bonus points if you can briefly say why you believe the official story doesn't hold up.

The "exploding microphone" theory is a fringe subset of the many unsubstantiated claims that have emerged online following the real-life events. It connects Charlie Kirk's death to an alleged explosion at a weapons facility, which proponents claim was an attempt to destroy evidence.

🎤 The Core Theory: A Weaponized Microphone

The central claim is that Charlie Kirk was not killed by a gunshot on September 10, 2025, but by an explosive device hidden in the lapel microphone he was wearing.

  • The Mechanism: Proponents point to video of the event, suggesting the movement of Kirk's shirt and the nature of his neck wound indicate an internal explosion, not a bullet impact. Some theorists claim the device was a "small shaped charge" hidden inside a DJI Mic 2 or RØDE Wireless PRO transmitter, designed to detonate and mimic a gunshot wound.
  • The Purpose: The theory posits that a visible shooter (like Tyler Robinson) was a "patsy" or decoy, with the real cause of death being the concealed explosive.

💥 The "Prototype" Location: The Plant Explosion

According to the theory, the explosive device used was linked to a real event: the explosion at the Accurate Energetic Systems (AES) plant in McEwen, Tennessee, which occurred on October 10, 2025, one month after Kirk's death.

  • The Facility: AES is a legitimate military contractor that produces explosives for the U.S. military.
  • The Explosion: A powerful blast destroyed a building at the plant, and officials reported that 19 people were initially missing, with 16 later confirmed dead.
  • The Conspiracy Claim: Conspiracy theorists allege this explosion was a deliberate act—a cover-up to destroy evidence and silence witnesses connected to the microphone's development. The real-world investigation, however, concluded it was a tragic industrial accident.

👥 "Missing" Persons: From Soldiers to Suspects

The theory also attempts to link several unrelated cases of missing persons to the assassination, weaving them into a larger narrative of a cover-up.

  • Richard Halliday: A 21-year-old soldier who went missing from Fort Bliss, Texas, in July 2020 (more than five years before Kirk's death). While a real missing persons case, conspiracy theorists have retroactively claimed Halliday was a "whistleblower" who was silenced because he had inside knowledge of the microphone plot.
  • Lance Twiggs: The 22-year-old live-in partner of Tyler Robinson (the man charged with Kirk's murder). Twiggs reportedly disappeared from their shared Utah townhouse after Robinson's arrest. While authorities stated Twiggs was moved to a "safe space" due to public backlash, conspiracy theorists cite this as another suspicious disappearance connected to the case.

🧩 The Connection to a Broader "Conspiracy Web"

This "exploding mic" theory is part of a larger ecosystem of unsubstantiated claims. Figures like commentator Candace Owens have promoted various theories, including the idea that Kirk was a "time traveler" or that the U.S. military was involved in his death. The theory also incorporates unrelated ideas, such as the debunked claim that a pre-published book about Kirk's death appeared on Amazon, as supposed "proof" the event was planned.

These theories rely on connecting unrelated events and ignoring official findings. There is no verifiable evidence to support the "exploding microphone" claim, and the connections to the AES plant explosion or missing persons like Richard Halliday are speculative.

If you'd like to know more about any of these specific figures or events, feel free to ask.

The mysterious case of Gabriela Rico Jiménez is one of Mexico’s most chilling unsolved stories. In 2009, the young model from Chihuahua attended a high-profile party in Monterrey—allegedly tied to the prestigious Elite Model agency. This wasn’t just any party; it was said to host powerful businessmen, politicians, and possibly organized crime figures.

Days later, Gabriela appeared in a now-infamous video outside a Monterrey hotel—barefoot, distressed, and rambling about global elites, satanic rituals, and human sacrifices. She claimed world leaders, including former U.S. President George W. Bush, took part in secret ceremonies and “ate children.” Her words were frantic and disjointed, but carried a sense of real terror. Police took her away, calling it a mental breakdown.

She was never seen again. No hospital records, no official statements, no trace. Her family stayed silent, and authorities offered nothing. Many believe she stumbled onto the dark side of the modeling world—where young women are exploited and trafficked under the guise of glamour—and that her outburst was a desperate warning. Others think it was a genuine psychological crisis.

But the absence of any investigation has only fueled the mystery. To this day, Gabriela’s disappearance is a haunting reminder of how someone can vanish in plain sight when power, silence, and fear converge.

This is what a 25-year double life looks like. A man who publicly supported Palestine while secretly reporting to Mossad. In 2008, Lebanese authorities arrested Ali al-Jarrah and his brother Youssef in the Beqaa Valley and charged them with spying for Israel. Ali confessed to working for Mossad for 25 years — since 1983, one year after Israel’s invasion of Lebanon. He said he was recruited by Israeli officers who had imprisoned him during the conflict. For over two decades, Ali posed as a supporter of Palestinian causes and was a member of a Palestinian militant group. In reality, he was photographing Hezbollah supply routes, tracking the movements of political leaders, and reporting on Syrian military positions. Investigators found sophisticated communication and surveillance equipment hidden in his home and car. He received over $300,000 in payments and was given Israeli passports to travel to Israel for training and debriefing sessions. In 2011, a Lebanese military court convicted him and sentenced him to life in prison. Ali al-Jarrah is a relative of Ziad Jarrah, the hijacker of United Airlines Flight 93 on September 11, 2001. The New York Times reported that the two men were approximately 20 years apart in age and “do not appear to have known each other well.” No official investigation has established any connection between Ali’s espionage activities and Ziad’s involvement in the 9/11 attacks. This case was first reported in 2008 and is resurfacing on social media in 2026.

Aside from knights, kings and jesters, when someone mentions the middle ages you probably think of chamber pots being emptied out of windows into unsanitary streets, deadly diseases like smallpox and typhoid and women dying in childbirth. However, you were probably never told that the unsanitary conditions and diseases were mainly in urban areas which only around 10% of Europe lived in at the end of the middle ages. In fact, academics came up with a term to describe the fact towns and cities were so much more deadly than the rural countryside: the urban penalty.

Until the twentieth century, death rates were generally higher in urban areas compared with rural ones, a phenomenon dubbed the ‘urban penalty’. Urban death rates were high partly as a consequence of factors that can be considered as structural features of cities and towns.1 High population densities favoured the transmission of infectious diseases, and trade and migration promoted the importation of animal and human diseases. In addition, before the twentieth century most cities provided inadequate facilities for the disposal of the volumes of wastes generated by such densities and numbers of humans and animals, and for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases associated with these living conditions.

The best mortality data we have is the infant mortality data from England and Wales, which shows in 1550 babies were about twice as likely to die in London than the most rural areas, while in the 1700s as the industrial revolution began and towns got bigger babies were three times as likely to die.

Figure 1b shows infant mortality rates rather than life expectancies, because the latter require much more data and are rarely available for urban populations before the mid-nineteenth century. However, levels of infant mortality were so high in early modern towns and cities that mortality in the first year of life was a major driver of life expectancy levels, at least in the eighteenth century. In London infant mortality was around 300–400 deaths per 1,000 births in the mid-eighteenth century, compared with the national average of c. 180 per 1,000. While London was then the largest city in Europe, with a population of perhaps c. 700,000, even small market towns seem to have experienced a severe ‘urban penalty’ in this period. In the towns of Alcester, Banbury, Gainsborough, and Lowestoft, with populations of 2,000–3,000, infant mortality was in the range 209–270 per 1,000 in the period 1675–1749, compared with infant mortality rates below 100 per 1,000 in the most remote rural parishes.

Did they ever teach you this in history? If you're like me then they didn't. Instead they taught you that if you lived in the middle ages a third of your children would die in infancy and you would probably die in your 30s. That last part is yet another lie based on misleading use of life expectancy estimates. In truth, the most common age of death was around 70, but due to infant mortality (and war) the life expectancy gets estimated at 35-40. Personally I think this life expectancy is much too low because of urban-centric information and how commonly past conditions are exaggerated, especially for the middle ages.

As can be seen from the graph it wasn't until around 1920 that urban infant mortality reduced to what rural levels had been in 1550. Earlier in the middle ages urbanization was even less, so what this suggests is that most people may have been as healthy as the average urban Englishman in 1920. But scaring people about how bad things used to be is much more profitable for big pharma and its a useful way for governments to keep people dependent on and subjugated to modern technology.

I keep checking back on this story for more details. There’s almost zero coverage. Google shows only three useless articles in the past week (screenshot attached). I tried a different search and got a few more results but still almost nothing.

How did these kids meet? Who else was involved? How did they get the explosives?

To me this is reeking of a federal setup: non-detonation, timing, teens, etc.

UKHSA will explore options to work with ‘big tech’ to use live location data and artificial intelligence (AI) for a more rapid, large-scale detection and alert system during pandemics. These services will adopt a whole-of-society approach with accessible and multilingual formats, and UKHSA will work to consider and build the equivalent tools needed for digitally excluded communities.

This is a somewhat low effort post but it's something I've been wondering about and I'm curious if anyone has any evidence/thoughts one direction or the other.

What are the chances this pedofile ring is much larger and more influential that we are seeing? The Epstein files may just be the tip of the iceberg.

Speaking of ICE, I'm almost wondering if the immigration stuff is just a pretext to start kidnapping children in larger quantities?

It's been revealed, thanks to the new website that allows users to access Epstein's emails as if they were their own, that the paedophile used the word 'whoops' in 316 emails.

Shockingly, it seems as if it was Epstein's strange choice of word whenever someone was revealed to have died, as he replied to one email about the death of Deutsche Bank managing director Steven Elkman with 'whoops'.

A particularly disgusting email reads: “She said that she felt Gods presence next to her when she was in bed. She knows that Jesus watches over her…Whoops!”

In this case, Epstein either seems to be referring to the sexual abuse or death of the young girl.

It was also his choice of response when he learned about the death of Robert F. Kennedy Jr's estranged wife Mary, after she tragically hung herself in 2012.

Another exchange sees Epstein reply 'whoops' after a redacted individual writes that they’re giving Epstein 'permission to kill' someone who has lied to both him and the redacted recipient. It appears again when he hears about the alleged rape of a young woman.

The Ditch gained access to Jeffrey Epstein’s FedEx account – with records showing it was used for shipments long after his death and an address book including a senior Israeli military officer now considered a “strategic consultant” for “diplomatic matters”.

Jeffrey Epstein’s FedEx account included the addresses and contact details of his high-profile associates like convicted child abuser Ghislaine Maxwell, sex trafficker Jean-Luc Brunel and disgraced billionaire Les Wexner.

Among the lesser-known of the almost 100 names is ex-Israeli Air Force Lieutenant Colonel-turned-strategic consultant Danny Grossman, who lists Alan Dershowitz as one of his clients.

Grossman served in the US Air Force before moving to Israel in 1979 and joining that state’s equivalent. He claims to have had reports placed on the front page of the New York Times and has been a director of the American Jewish Congress.

The FedEx account was used as recently as summer 2024 – despite Epstein’s death in 2019.

A shipment weighing just under half a kilogramme was collected from aircraft company Gulfstream product support in Savannah, Georgia and shipped to Plan D LLC in Kennesaw, Georgia on 20 May, 2024.

Plan D is the now-dissolved company that Epstein incorporated to own and operate his private jet, which Donald Trump used during the 2024 US presidential election campaign.
