Time is money here in the states. I can't pay rent for an apartment full of my stuff if I'm traveling and not working. To go away for one week I need at least 2 weeks of pay saved up. I've had the privilege of traveling before and am saving for another time in the future but the fact I can save at all is because of a series of lucky breaks.
Also I have terrible credit so no one will ever give me a cc that isn't a horrible deal (400ish) and if something goes wrong and I'm stranded what then? I know I'm not alone in this.
Downside of the cost of living and size of the country. You actually are very lucky if you can travel.

These things are real and tend to snowball. Along the lines of "if you go looking for trouble you'll find it" but not quite. I think this is what people have called a thinning of the veil. Magic thrives in uncertainty, like a fading sense of deja Vu you cannot interrogate. But it is there if you think it is there. Find yourself a dark corner of the world and look at it with the corner of you eye. Convince yourself something is there then decide it isn't. And the something that might have been will growl in frustration.
Have you seen the 60 minutes report on Havana syndrome? Every day it's something weirder and worse.

I grew up on Skyrim and Oblivion. Spent ungodly numbers of hours mashing incompatible mods together and even made a few of my own.
Elder scrolls meant something to me I'm so done with this series tho. Id ask how you fuck up on anything this bad but looking around... Could've been worse they didn't make the night mother a neo nazi at least ๐

I just started using bazzite and got clamav running through rpm-ostree install. I know thats not recommended though, is this an ok use case and how do you think it'll do? I really gotta be careful because in addition to games I intend to share a jellyfin library.
