There are lots of types of people with different opinions and backgrounds on Lemmy. However, most of us in the core user base came to Lemmy either because we were pushed out of other online spaces, or left out of protest. This means that Lemmy is tends to have a bit of a bias against big tech, authoritarian governments and corporations, etc. Lemmy is also open source, so there is also a strong do-it-yourself sentiment here. Lemmy also attracts folks who remember Web 1.0 when information was decentralized, with no top-down control. There are still users and whole communities that disagree with the majority of Lemmy users, but you have to look for them because they are in the minority and are thus not raised by the voting-based systems that Lemmy uses.
I mean, USB-C Ethernet adapters exist
Edit: Though you would also need power passthrough for the phone to work as a router full time
Greetings!
I've really enjoyed being here! I came here for the minimal defederations, stayed for the community. Cheers!
Duskers is such a one of a kind immersive roguelike. I love everything about it. Interested to see what they do with a sequel.
Test test test, test!
Test reply. Testy test!
Use it until it stops working, my friend! Use the grace period to save up for a better model, as you clearly use this tool often enough to merit and upgrade
I need a banana for scale. I can't tell if it's a giant spoon, or a tiny room

When people here say "Temu" they mean any place where you can buy from companies that have forgettable names, don't care about their reputation, and have zero incentive not to spy on their users and sell their data.
We mean "don't buy things that you won't have full control over just to save money or get a feature that you want".
Best of luck regardless, may your next phone be rootable and repairable!
