You're significantly misunderstanding me, but that's fine since I won't support trans people anymore since you think I'm an enemy.

Might as well be the person I'm portrayed as instead of the person who wants trans people to survive as long as possible.

Do you have an actual question there?

Are they actually, though?

Capitalism and publicly traded are like 3 sides of the same coin.

I appreciate your words. It really does suck to feel like the enemy just to exist as a white male despite wanting to literally fight those who would deny women their rights.

But I'm 6'3 and 200lb lean, so I know I'm in the running for "men you should be concerned about" even though literally no woman on earth needs to fear me. I've never even asked my wife for a hand job in the 10 years so I've known her.

I guess the question is why wouldn't people trust me. You'd be the only one to have.

I live near a huge highway construction project, and about once a month they break the water main, meaning we get a boil water notice for ~48h.

I have a Culligan water filter that runs to a spout on my sink, and one that's on our ice maker, but we use the level 1 canisters to remove the taste from the water. These canisters are good for about 6 months of regular use (ice maker is about a year).

During the boil water notice, the level 1 filters aren't sufficient to filter out bacteria and such, so I'd need a level 3 filter for that. But, those are expensive and only good for about 2 months, so I don't want to exclusively use them.

I'd like to have one in storage that I can throw on when we have a main break, but I'm not sure the best way to store it. It's not super easy to drain the water out of the canisters.

Edit: While I appreciate the thought, I'm not interested in alternatives to my setup. I like my countertop water dispenser, and I'm looking for a way to keep my current QoL during an outage with the least amount of trouble.

My house has an out building that I've converted into a home gym. I'm working on getting as much up off the floor as possible, so today I installed this wall mounted weight rack.

Installation was surprisingly easy, apart from driving massive lag bolts into 3.5mm pilot holes. I'm glad I didn't listen to the directions that said to install the top 170cm (5'7") from the ground and instead did 183cm (6'), because the Olympic bar is just slightly off the ground.

The right most bolt didn't quite line up with the stud, but it's secure enough for now until I remove the top piece and throw in a large drywall toggle bolt.

Next up will be steel pegboards to hang things like resistance bands and handles from.
