Yeah, the scene is literally Joker gathering the money to burn it in front of some gang boss to show him that he doesn't care about the money. I'm guessing OP wanted to say that the CEO is burning money needlessly?

The Jackdaw plucking fur off a moulting deer the bird gather soft warm nesting material, and the deer gets a free, highly appreciated, grooming that removes itchy, loose winter hair and ticks

It's crazy to think that this is basically more powerful than the Apollo Guidance Computer that got people onto the moon. It costs 3 cents, and we use it for shit like this and then throw it away. What spectacular waste.

Firefox has implemented many of the same features that Chrome has recently (groups, split tabs, vertical tabs, reading mode etc.) but has also consistently been implementing them earlier and better. There are just so many small annoyances with these features on Chrome that aren't there in Firefox, and Chrome is always late to the party.

The golden era of Chrome is long gone, probably because the most competent people working at Google have moved on.

I'm all for spacing capitalists, but I don't think there's enough of them to blot out the sun.

In a past life, I would feel sorry for the carnage, but Israel deserves every single missile fired at them and 10x that amount

The idealized market was supposed to deliver ‘friction free’ exchanges, in which the desires of consumers would be met directly, without the need for intervention or mediation by regulatory agencies. Yet the drive to assess the performance of workers and to measure forms of labor which, by their nature, are resistant to quantification, has inevitably required additional layers of management and bureaucracy. What we have is not a direct comparison of workers’ performance or output, but a comparison between the audited representation of that performance and output. Inevitably, a short-circuiting occurs, and work becomes geared towards the generation and massaging of representations rather than to the official goals of the work itself.

What profits? All AI companies have major losses. Except Nvidia of course, which just sells the hardware to the other companies so that they can make a loss.

At best, this will just socialize the losses made by decisions of capitalists.

Oh hey, it's the "capitalism is founded on the idea of workers owning their workplace" person.

Shitty article has link to non shitty source. If you critical thinking skills were as developed as you think they are, you could click on it.

They are free to argue in the comments if they don't agree with the post itself, otherwise it's fine to assume that they are crypto-zionists and shame them.

Note: the orchestra video seems like AI slop, but the FPV footage is real. BBC has confirmed a number of these videos already

News is from last year, but it's still dystopic for anyone that missed it:

At a European Commission press briefing in Brussels on 13 October, Nunziati asked the spokesperson Paula Pinho: “You’ve repeatedly said that Russia should pay for the reconstruction of Ukraine. Do you think Israel should also pay for the reconstruction of Gaza, given that it destroyed much of the Strip and its civilian infrastructure?

on 27 October, the journalist received a letter terminating his working relationship with the news agency, which, however, did not specify the reasons for this decision.

The Agenzia Nova news agency told Fanpage.it that Nunziati’s question was “completely out of place and technically incorrect” and had created “embarrassment for the agency”

“We find that AI assistance improves immediate performance, but it comes at a heavy cognitive cost,” the study declares. Researchers went on to state that just ten minutes of using AI made people dependent on the technology, which led to worsening performance and burnout once the tools were removed.

The study followed people who use AI for "reasoning-intensive" cognitive labor. This refers to stuff like writing, coding and brainstorming new ideas, which are some of the most common use cases.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Confirming the suspicions of many in the international community, on Monday Donald J. Trump revealed that intelligence played “no role” in his decision to go to war with Iran.

“People keep asking me about intelligence,” he told reporters on Air Force One. “I made this call with no intelligence whatsoever.”

“Quite frankly, every decision I’ve ever made in my life I’ve made without intelligence,” he boasted. “Intelligence is for losers.”

Trump added that “I don’t trust people who have intelligence, which is why I love Pete.”
