Because no one ever ignores stop signs, especially when they think they're useless

In my country it is actually illegal to ride a bike on the normal lanes if a bike lane / path is available

This article doesn't comment on the fact that south american farmers won't be subject to the european regulations on antibiotics, pesticides, herbicides, land usage, etc. It is not something the average consumer cares about (even if they should), but it is forced on european farmers, making their products more expensive.

Making a prototype electric car is actually surprisingly simple for what it is, the problem is adding all the required active and passive security systems and passing the safety inspection for selling in the EU, not to say the usual about supply chain, manufacturing, etc, which will probably be quite difficult given this goes against every automotive company's interests.

A simple, repairable EV would be my dream car but unfortunately I don't see it happening soon in Europe.

Rear fog lights are made so that other cars can see you from further away in the fog. They are red and function basically as brighter position lights. While they can be mounted in the bumper, it is not unusual for them to be in the same position as the position lights, as their purpose is the same (making you seen). Since they are made for making you visible in thick fog, they are very bright, and it is illegal in many places to use them without reason as it can blind the driver behind you in regular conditions.

Rear fog lights do exist in plenty of models...

The current government's moving of Franco's remains a while ago didn't sit quite right with the right (they aren't fascist, they just want to give our former fascist dictator "the respect he deserves." Apparently he deserves a nonzero amount)

Damn I'm sorry if I offended you, I meant it as a lighthearted observation, no sarcasm on my part

Also what?

I find it funny that you are complaining about this not happening before while the comment directly above you has a dinosaur-era tumblr post describing the same problem

[–] itsralC@lemmy.zip 7 points 9 months ago

Damn, if that's true this comment needs to be way higher
